Scanner S 3010

This scanner was developed as part of the DC 3000 product family.
It is one of the last drum scanners from Hell, which enables a highly automated operation in conjunction with work preparation stations.
The scaled, digitized image data are calculated in real time by the
digital color calculator with regard to the desired color and sharpness corrections during the scanning process.
In the so-called "direct" mode, the scanner is connected to the recorder R 3020/R 3030 via an electronical shaft, so the image data are "directly" exposed on film parallel to the scanning process.
In system operation, the scanner is connected to a PC or a repro system computer, the image data are stored on the storage media available with large data volumes.
