The subsidiary in Japan
Hell has been cooperating since the late 1950s in Japan
with the overseas trading company UHAG (based in
Switzerland) At this time, the Klischograph K 151 in
Japan is offered.
In 1981 the company KHGC (Kaigai Hell Graphic Center) is founded in Tokyo, near the company headquarters of
"Dai Nippon Printing" (in Ichigaya).

An independent Hell company, the Hell Graphics K.K. is founded in 1989 as a 100% subsidiary with headquarter in Tokyo, Ohtsuka.

As early as 1991 - after the merger with Linotype, the Japanese subsidiary also has been renamed to Linotype-Hell Ltd. |

After the merger with Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG in Germany (1996), the Hell Graphic Ltd. is merged wtith the Heidelberg PMT Co., Ltd. (from 1999 Heidelberg Japan K.K.). Today registered today as: Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG |

In 2002 the product line "Engraving" is taken from Heidelberg Japan K.K. and transferred into the independent company "Hell Gravure Systems". | |||||||
