Dr.-Ing Rudolf Hell is among other things an inventor of the TV-image dissector tube
(in 1925 with Dr. Dieckmann), the "Hell-Schreiber" (1929), Klischographen (1951),
fax machine (1956), scanner (1963) and the computer typesetting Digiset (1965).
Dr.-Ing. Rudolf Hell is among other things a bearer of the big Federal Service Cross
with star, of the Gutenberg's price and Werner von Siemens-Rings, and is a cultural
prizewinner and Honorary citizen of the city of Kiel as well as the dignity of honoray
citizen of the university of Kiel.
Dr.-Ing. Rudolf Hell was born 111 years ago on the 19th of December, 1901 in Eggmühl
and passed away at the age of 101 years on the 11th of March, 2002 in Kiel.
